You don’t have to be a massive sports fan to notice the effect that the best coaching has on teams: the best coaches get the best results possible from their players. This often tends to result in wins and championship. If a team performs poorly, it will to replace the coach rather than replace the players.

Like anything that has the potential to be greatly rewarding, real estate investing is risky. You need to learn the ropes you so can minimize that risk. Real estate investing is a business where mistakes can be massively expensive. You can’t afford to make the same mistakes over and over; you have start out with good strategies, apply them well, and learn from any mistakes you do make.

Sound, sensible real estate investment practices must become your habits quickly if you are to succeed at investing in real estate. A good real estate coach can help with that process. For one thing, the instant, objective expert feedback you will get from a real estate coach brings accountability into your process. You will understand the consequences of your actions, and cannot rationalize away your mistakes and missteps, pass the buck or pass on the blame.

According to Vince Lombardi, one of the greatest football coaches of all time, winning is a habit, but so is losing. Which habit would you rather have, winning or losing? That’s not a question you had to think over very long, is it. A good real estate coach can do what even the best book or class cannot help you form winning habits.

A real estate coach can also help you put together a business plan, and give you specific ideas as to what you need to do in order for your venture to be a success. Like a sports team, you will only reap the benefits of a good game plan if you carry out the game plan successfully. A good coach will keep your nose to the grindstone and put your feet to the fire. A good real estate coach can keep you moving forward, and help you through rough times and answer questions. A good real estate coach can also provide support, motivation, knowledge, and help you keep your focus.

When you choose your real estate coach, you should choose someone who is actually active and successful as a real estate investor, and not someone merely trained in real estate who skipped the whole important middle step of being successful and went straightaway into training others. They should have many verifiable properties, and local properties are always better local properties are indicative that the real estate coach works locally, and will be available for training and answers. If you hire someone as a consultant, they should genuinely care about your future. Make them demonstrate this. If they don’t care about you before they take your money, they won’t suddenly start to care after they take your money.

Peter Vekselman has been successfully investing in real estate since 1996. He has completed over 1000 real estate deals, owned a construction company, been a private lender, and owned a property management company. To learn more about Peter please visit http://www.coachingbypeter.com.

The medical industry is expected to generate more new jobs over the next decade than any other industry. It is predicted to increase spending on manufacturing in the next few years. The medical industry is first and foremost an industry, which exists to make money. The health and well being of its patients is one of the primary concerns of this industry, as well as making money.

The medical industry is growing rapidly, and now is your best chance to grow with it. It is currently undergoing a technical revolution. The medical industry is still behind the curve, with most doctors` offices and hospitals still relying on paper instead of electronics, for patient records. The demand for remote access to diagnostic information has exposed the inadequacy of traditional media such as film, magneto optical (MO) disk, and tape which hinders duplication and transport.

The medical industry is building upon the knowledge, resources, and technologies emanating from the efforts to further understand the genetic contributions to human health. As a result of this expansion of genomics into human health applications, the field of genomic medicine was born. The medical industry is a business, and they realize the profit potential of such “fountains of youth,” and will charge dearly for them.

The medical industry is a primary growth sector for most of the world. We play an increasingly important role in supplying precision machined components used in medical monitoring systems. The medical industry is booming in China, which boasts the 7th biggest medical market in the world with more than 6000 pharmaceutical companies and enterprises. All this presents enormous opportunities for cooperation between China and the Western world in the medical field. The medical industry can be a tough one that includes long hours, tough shifts, and emotional drainage. However tough it may be, there is no excuse for medical professionals to slack though, because they have the lives of their patients in their hands.

The medical industry is large, bureaucratic, and sometimes entrenched in the way it operates. It does not see a lot of financial incentive to move to new technology, despite the well documented benefits it offers. The medical industry is projected to have the strongest employment growth of any industry within the next decade, so seeking a medical job is certainly a wise decision. Continued advances in technology, as well as a growing and aging population, will spur this growth and create opportunities for well trained individuals.

Article Title: What Can You Learn as a Paint Contractor?

College internships have become a mainstay of the college experience for most students. Part-time jobs and internships allow students to have a little bit of financial freedom while in school and double as a means to get a look at and a taste for the real world.

What many do not realize, though, is that there are many options outside of the office job for the student to choose from.

So, while you want to go into business or law or medicine or whatever, why in the world would you even consider taking an internship as a paint contractor? Painting is a necessary evil for many homeowners, as they must repaint their home so that their home’s appearance does not drag and fall behind that of their neighbors home.

Most do not enjoy painting their home and hire a painting contractor to do the work for them. So, when many students are faced with the prospect of being a paint contractor as an internship, they may not see the appeal of such a job.

A good deal of students end up taking internships in their respective fields, maybe they will work in an office doing filing and getting coffee. Maybe they will work in a legal office doing similar work, or in a lab cleaning up after scientists or performing pretty simplistic tasks that, while necessary, may not allow the student to get a full experience of the field.

There are contracting companies, however, that allow students to take on some real responsibility and may even allow them to manage their own team of painters. They not only learn how to manage a team, develop their leadership skills and learn about financial management and business practices, but also are given the opportunity to make some extra cash that can help them through college.

Giving students financial freedom and the opportunity to really get a taste for the how the real world will be once they graduate, gives students a unique opportunity absent in most college internships.

Being a paint contractor will, obviously, give the student a chance to learn a new ability in painting that can last their lifetime and may even be a hobby the enjoy doing through their adult life. When most people think of being a painter, this is the only benefit they can think of.

As explained earlier, however, there are other, more important advantages that many people do not realize. Giving students a truly genuine taste of the real world will allow them to grow and develop as valuable employees and as people.

Not every internship gives students this opportunity and it’s actually a shame. While in college, students should work on developing their abilities and growing as human beings, finding themselves and discovering their passions and abilities.

Not entering into an endless pattern and fitting a generic mold that makes up so much of the workforce. College should teach students to be unique and to do what they really love doing. Internships sometimes miss this, as they have students perform mundane tasks and may teach them ‘business as usual’ that they will go by for the rest of their lives.

Being a paint contractor may not be the answer to all of these problems, but it will allow the student a new perspective and experience that many miss out on.

When you’re looking for a new job, it’s important to keep in mind that it’s not necessarily the best suited and qualified person which gets the job, but often the one who knows the most about how to get hired. Some people feel uncomfortable getting a job based on who they know rather than what they know, but networking is a fact of life.

Networking can be an important way of getting hired, and is definitely an effective employment strategy, but what is it? And how is it done?

Because of the nature of the job market these days, many people fear that their current job may become obsolete. People are likely to need to reapply their skills into different jobs throughout their lives.

Networking is a process of interacting with people who share similar interests. It normally involves the sharing of information about these shared areas of interests, and often the passing on of names and contact details who also share those interests. The idea is that it is beneficial for everyone involved.
It is a great way of getting new contacts and up-to-date information, many people are networking when they think they are socialising. Others find it very hard, especially as a way of finding employment.

It is generally agreed that in these networks, the more you give, the more you get back. To many organisations this goes against their general policy, and they tend to hold back knowledge for paying clients.

But there are three clear benefits of networking; it will help you find a job, either now or when you need one, it tends to mean your pay and promotion within your current role will pick up speed, and you also have the ability to become influential within the network.

Many jobs are never advertised, they are filled through referrals and recommendations, direct approaches by candidates and by using agencies. It saves companies time and money on advertising roles and means the candidate is more likely to be experienced in a relevant area.

Networking can lead to an introduction or a “warm” referral. It can also help you build your knowledge and skills, and builds a team of potential colleagues, sub contractors and mentors.

Networking can help job seekers connect with people who need their skills, and can increase their value as an employee. It doesn’t have to be hard-nosed business talk, it’s just about cultivating relationships and keeping them alive through changing circumstances.

John McE writes articles on a number of subjects including Finance & IT jobs. Check4Jobs are the UK’s freshest job search engine. With thousands of vacancies across hundreds of sectors, it’s the place to go for employment opportunities.

Article Title: Continued Job Growth Makes CDL Employment a Great Career Choice
Author: Keith Baxter

CDL employment continues to be a great choice for drivers who want a steady job with better than average pay. According to the Occupational Outlook Handbook, 2008-2009 Edition, CDL drivers can expect to earn between 7.02 per hour to 18.38 per hour. Additionally, many companies offer sign-on bonuses and overtime incentives.

Individuals who are interested in CDL employment should also consider all job requirements before pursuing a career in the trucking industry. Below are just a few of the additional requirements that employers may require to drive for their companies:

Age Requirements: Many companies hire drivers who are as young as 18 years old while others only hire drivers who are 21 or older. Often, less experienced drivers will drive smaller vehicles, such as panel trucks, until they gain adequate skill to drive larger vehicles.

Physical Requirements: Drivers are required to spend many hours behind the wheel, so employees must be able to sit for long periods of time. Additionally, drivers are often required to load and unload merchandise; therefore, they are required to get yearly physical examinations.

Mechanical Knowledge: Drivers must have a basic understanding of how to troubleshoot possible problems with their vehicles. They have to ensure that their trucks are in good operating order (i.e. brakes, working windshield wipers, proper oil levels, cargo properly secured, etc.) They must be able to recognize potential problems and report them to the dispatcher.

Education and Training: All drivers are required to have a Commercial Drivers License (CDL) and should have completed a certified driver training course or have experience driving commercial vehicles. Companies often offer additional training to their employees. Many companies require that all drivers have a high school diploma. To drive larger trucks, many companies raise the minimum age limit to 22 and require three to five years of driving experience as a condition to employment.

Additional Requirements: Employees may also be required to be salesmen. The ability to get along well with others is an important requirement. Employers prefer to hire individuals who are self-motivated and can work with minimal supervision. Drivers must read and speak English fluently and have the ability to read road signs and to communicate well verbally and in writing. Additionally, random drug and alcohol testing is required. Applicants with a felony conviction involving a motor vehicle or previous DUI will not be eligible for employment.

If you’re interested in CDL employment as a career, you’ve made a great choice. Great pay, continued job growth, and the ability to work for someone or work as an independent contractor makes a career in driving an attractive option.
